She began her career as a bookkeeper immediately after high school, managing multiple clients while pursuing her college education. This experience allowed her to hone her passion for accounting system design, oversight, and process improvement. After graduating, she transitioned into public accounting, where she engaged in various services including tax, assurance, audit, financial statement preparation, outsourced accounting, and controller services. Her practical experience enabled her to excel quickly, resulting in an accelerated promotion at RSM.

She then accepted a position with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, starting as a Tax Auditor and advancing to Supervisor. In this role, she was recognized for her expertise in process improvement and problem-solving. She led initiatives to address stagnant work queues by developing effective systems, providing guidance, and designing and conducting training programs. Additionally, she contributed to data analytics-driven audit selection projects, showcasing her skills in financial analysis.

Eager to return to public accounting and support businesses in achieving their goals, she focused on tax and advisory services before pivoting to consulting as a Fractional CFO. With over 25 years of accounting experience, including cash flow and budgeting, consolidation, and accounting process improvement, she is excited to leverage her diverse experiences to assist companies in reaching their full potential. Her background includes 10+ years of public accounting experience in tax & tax provision, advisory, audit & assurance, and accounting system design, making her an invaluable asset in the business advisory space.
